Meet the Owner, Ray!

Being born in Bremerton, WA is as local as it gets. Raised as a yes ma'am, no sir kind of man. Mutual respect, manners, and a winning attitude is what I live by. Being raised by a Marine leaves no room for slack. 

This probably started at the age of 10 and maybe it was the way I was raised. I just could never be okay with having a dirty car. I would always get excited when my dad would pull up in his company vehicles because I had the opportunity to detail his rides from a Nissan to a Cadillac. It didn't matter, I could not wait to see him smile after I finished my work.

Fast forward some years, high school was over and I still was not sure what to do. I played College Football in California for some time and after all ended up back home! Classic move next, I joined the Shipyard and worked my way to a Nuclear Mechanic for a few years. That was fun because it was extremely clean, precise, and there were tolerances you couldn't imagine. I still wasn't happy though, but I always kept a clean ride and couldn't wait to get off work to go wash my truck some more. It's peaceful listening to good music and doing what makes me happy. I was washing everyone's vehicles anyways! Using my passion for attention to detail and thorough government training in nuclear cross contamination I decided I should take on the Auto Detailing Industry.

Although I've grown up detailing vehicles, and have been continuously researching and developing my skills I still wanted to be Certified. That was achieved by attending Detail King Auto Detailing Training Institute located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. With my arsenal of Knowledge, Skill and Time I've invested into what I love, Down to the Details could be your last stop for a trusted detailer.
